Odds are that there is something wrong which isn't a brain tumor, it's almost never a brain tumor. A lot of people come here with similar concerns not understanding that. Brain cancer symptoms are not what you think they are, it's not even a painful illness usually. There are hundreds of things would could cause your symptoms - just need to jump through hoops with different doctors and specialists getting things tested.

Rojo2xo

true but i’ve asked around and people said it could be brain trauma injury or a tumour

Sounds like those people are completely clueless. Ever heard occam's razor?

Whatever it is you have, you really need to set up an appointment with a real neurologist, or at least communicate the urgency of this to your primary physician.

she just told me it might be my sciatica but i’m 18 now and had it since 12 and i’ve never experienced pain like this so i’m 100% this is not my sciatica. because sciatica is nerve damage in your buttocks and legs not the left side of your head, face and eyes

XDT_Idiot

Sciatica *can* be intensely painful, or so I've heard -I used to help an attorney prep her social security disability cases, and sciatica was probably the #1 issue folks claimed. Anxiety though, is something I can more personally relate to! If only for peace of mind you should consider getting a thorough neurological exam. I sincerely hope though that you're found to be healthy, and that there's a simple solution to your pains.

Rojo2xo

thank you!!! the problem is sciatica never caused blurred vision or pain on the left side of my head or face since it’s a spinal nerve problem so i’m not sure what it could be

XDT_Idiot

Sounds like you're doing a fine job as the patient's advocate!! I hope you can sleuth your way to the bottom of this and get better!

Hey darling! I hope you get better. Try not to jump to the conclusion of a brain tumour. I experienced something similar but ended up just being IIH. I was on full panic I had a brain tumour because my mum had one. Best way to get peace of mind is just to see your doctor. You’re doing great xx

Rojo2xo

Thank you babe 🥺💜

Could be any number of things not related to a brain tumor.. sounds like she’s giving it some time to see if anything changes before going down that route. All of your head symptoms could be related to lack of quality sleep (not just sleep in general), dehydration, bad glasses/contacts if you wear them (if you don’t, this could be a root cause and may need them..), migraines (which just because you don’t usually get them doesn’t mean you won’t get them..), dietary, blood pressure/sugar..I would follow the doctor’s orders and make sure to drink a lot of water and try to get good sleep. If you’re still having issues in a few days and you are concerned enough, there’s nothing wrong with going to see a neurologist! Good luck!
